Versus+Heritage for People: educational tools to transmit heritage values

The didactic booklet Versus Plus Heritage for People: Educational tools to transmit heritage values has been coordinated by CRAterre and presents 20 playful and interactive teaching tools on the principles and lessons of traditional architecture.

They are new or already well proven activities, designed by the partners of the project, and ready to be used by a wide range of audiences. This collection of tools does not impose fixed exercises but invites the reader to be creative in teaching by proposing very diverse forms of learning based on active and manual work. Moreover, the proposed activities can easily be reformulated to suit the time, the human, cultural and material resources available.

The booklet opens with a brief description of the VerSus+ project; includes a table summarising the activities according to target audience (9 categories), scale of intervention (7 categories) and sustainability principles addressed (15 VerSus principles); and contains illustrated sheets explaining each of the 20 exercises. Links to websites and a bibliography provide access to further information.
